At the end of April, Parque Fisa held its largest event since its creation, Expomin 2023, for which different spaces were renovated, such as the Cordillera hall, the Convention Center, and the “Plaza de los Presidentes” (Presidents’ Plaza) was created. This square was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, during his visit to the opening ceremony of Expomin. It should be noted that this space was designed taking into consideration that convention centers around the world have this type of meeting place. The Plaza is located between the fair pavilions and the Convention Center, and the landscapers in charge of its design commented that they had to take into account the climatic conditions of the area, the drought, the wind and the frost in winter. To achieve this they resorted to native trees and sustainable species with low water consumption and, at the same time, thinking of attracting insects, butterflies and birds to the place, generating a small ecosystem.

The Santiago International Fair will have free shuttle buses from the Pajaritos Metro Station from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17 through Sunday, November 20.

Expomin 2023 culminates its version with record number of visitors
For four days, the center of world mining met at Expomin 2023. The exhibition was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric and was attended by the Ministers of Mining, Marcela Hernando and Economy, Nicolás Grau, among other authorities of Chile, senior executives of mining companies, 1,270 exhibitors, and put in the debate the challenges of mining in the country and the world.
