Today saw the start of the great and well-remembered Fisa Fair, which will be held from Wednesday, November 16 to Sunday, November 20 at the new Fisa Park, located on Route 68, Kilometer 16, in the municipality of Pudahuel. This unique sectorial meeting was inaugurated by the Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism, Nicolás Grau; the Undersecretary of Tourism, Verónica Kunze; the general manager of Fisa, Francisco Sotomayor; the president of SNA, Cristián Allendes; and the director of Sernatur, Beatriz Román. On the occasion, the Minister of Economy, Nicolás Grau, said that “we are very hopeful about what Fisa represents for the country. To see all the novelties in this meeting space where entrepreneurs can have new business opportunities and expand. It is a catalyzing space, reactivating our economy and in particular the tourism pavilion, which is a place where they can come to organize their vacations and support a sector that did not have a good time with the pandemic”. The general manager of Fisa, Francisco Sotomayor, said that “after 24 years, this new version of this unique and multisectoral meeting is back stronger than ever, being a meeting point for Chileans who will be able to enjoy a civic festival, with family panoramas and thematic pavilions aimed at all ages”. Novelties and panoramas On the occasion, the Undersecretary of Tourism, Verónica Kunze, emphasized that Sernatur will have the best of the national tourism offer so that Chileans can choose their next destination for the summer vacations. “We have more than a thousand square meters of pavilion dedicated exclusively to tourism, because at the beginning of the year, as a government, we committed ourselves to reactivate this industry that suffered so much with the pandemic. We expect a little more than 30 million overnight trips throughout Chile during the summer season and they can come to Fisa, where the 16 regions are located, to learn about the offer that exists to plan their summer and also support the sector that has prepared to receive tourists with a wide offer in various destinations”, he said. During these days, the International Fair of Santiago (Fisa) has the Made in Chile Pavilion, which brings together the best of the country’s entrepreneurship, where visitors can enjoy the Expo Materiaprima pavilion, giving them the opportunity to advance their Christmas gifts handmade by more than 80 entrepreneurs. In this new version, Feria Fisa has an exhibition of Copec, which presents the first electric rally car in Chile, a vehicle originally developed in Europe and which marks a new milestone in the development of sustainable mobility at a sporting level. Likewise, children will be able to interact with exotic animals with Safari on Tour and also enjoy the animals of Buin Zoo. They will also be able to ride on a carousel, participate in circus workshops and see shows designed for the little ones. Throughout the day, from Thursday to Sunday, the stage will feature traditional dances, entertainment and a grill of shows for all ages. LIVE SHOWS This Thursday, November 17, Feria Fisa will present the Zabaleta Brothers, who will perform the best hits of their musical career. On the same day, Chilean singer Germán Casas, lead singer of the emblematic group Los Ramblers, and voice of the hit song “el rock del Mundial”, will recall great songs that were recognized in the New Wave era and that have lasted until today. On Friday 18, the 80’s music will be played by Álvaro Scaramelli and his friends; Pancho Puelma; Valija Diplomática; Aterrizaje Forzoso; Aparato Rato, and the group Viena. It will also feature singer Claudio Narea, who will perform the great classics of Los Prisioneros and review his outstanding work as a soloist. To give way to the 90’s, on Saturday 19 there will be an outstanding show with Ballbreaker (AC/DC Tribute), the singer Cfunk from Los Tetas, Solo di Medina, Lalo Ibeas (Chancho en Piedra), and will end with the best of hip hop, with Jimmy Fernandez (La Pozze Latina). Finally, on Sunday 20, the historic group Aparcoa will perform with Sigrid Alegría, giving way to the best of Chilean music. There will also be the presentation of Los tres Palacios, and the children’s show Frozen, for the little ones.
